Venture Knowledge is a knowledge management specialist facilitating the exchange of knowledge between organisations and individuals. Our mission is knowledge sustainability.

We enable organisations to retain access to knowledge of past employees and to access new knowledge from our broad database of associates with relevant industry and or functional experience.

We provide our associates the opportunity to generate an income stream through knowledge sharing assignments.

The global financial crisis has accelerated this as knowledge walks out the door through redundancies, retirements and resignations. The consequences of the loss of technical knowledge, know-how and external relationships only become apparent when it is too late. Venture Knowledge provides employers a risk mitigation solution.

Equally organisations need to acquire new knowledge and Venture Knowledge provides a highly efficient and cost effective alternative to traditional consultants and contractors.

For Associates

Membership of Venture Knowledge (subject to qualification) provides associates with opportunities for paid knowledge sharing assignments. Most of our associates are permanently employed and can provide knowledge that does not conflict with their employment agreement.

Client organisations brief Venture Knowledge on their knowledge requirements. We identify associates with the appropriate background and selected associates are invited to accept a knowledge sharing assignment. Most assignments are conducted with clients by telephone at a mutually agreeable time. Duration of assignments range from a one hour phone call to much longer projects, subject to associate availability. At the conclusion of the assignment, VK is responsible for billing the client and paying the associate.
