A new opportunity has become available for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the Sydney based manufacturing operations of one of their key Divisions.
As Maintenance Engineer you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will have primary responsibility for plant maintenance. You will be responsible for managing and developing a team of tradesmen and contractors, managing the CMMS, scheduling, root cause analysis investigation for OEE, HSE compliance and design, costing and implementation of maintenance improvement strategies.
Other responsibilities include:
Oversee PLC systems
Assist in the management of CAPEX projects
Management of external suppliers and contractors
You will be working closely with people at all levels of the plant and building strong relationships. This will see you assisting the Engineering Manager in managing cultural change within the plant, ensuring that all staff are involved in the process and are up-to-date with procedures.

To be considered for this outstanding position you will demonstrate the following:
Completion of a relevant Engineering degree, Electrical preferred.
Experience preferably gained in either manufacturing, mining, or automotive environments
Strong knowledge of PLC systems, in particular Allen Bradley
Knowledge if Root Cause Analysis methodologies
Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills
Highly organised and process oriented
Strong ability to build relationships at all levels, including operators, contractors and managers
Excellent negotiation skills
